Labour ComplianceThe Haryana Labour Welfare Board on May 08, 2026, revised the Labour Welfare Fund Contribution Ceiling from January 2026.

The following has been stated:

• The Government has revised the employee contribution ceiling under the Haryana Labour Welfare Fund provisions with effect from January 01, 2026. Earlier, from January 01, 2025, employees were required to contribute 0.2% of their salary, wages, or remuneration, subject to a maximum limit of ₹34 per month, while employers were required to contribute twice the employee contribution amount. 

• Under the revised provision effective from January 01, 2026, the maximum employee contribution limit has been increased from ₹34 to ₹35 per month, with the employer continuing to contribute double the employee’s contribution. 

• The notification also reiterates that the contribution ceiling will continue to be indexed annually to the Consumer Price Index from 1 January every year.
