The Government of Karnataka, on May 08, 2026, notified the Karnataka Excise (Brewery) (Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Brewery) Rules, 1967.
The following has been stated:-
•For Rule 7-B, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
7-B. Attendance of Officers- Brewery licensee shall be permitted to bottle and dispatch their products 24 hours a day. The Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall make necessary and adequate Excise staff arrangements.
They shall come into force from May 08, 2026.
