Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Karnataka on May 08, 2026, issued the Karnataka Excise (Distillery and Warehouse) (Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Distillery and Warehouse) Rules, 1967.

It states that rule 15 shall be substituted with “15. Attendance of Officers- Distillery licensee shall be permitted to bottle and dispatch their products 24-hours a day. The Deputy Commissioner of Excise shall make necessary and adequate Excise staff arrangements”.
