The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has issued an order under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 for fixation of retail price of a combination drug formulation containing Metoprolol Succinate IP 47.50 mg equivalent to Metoprolol Tartrate (as extended release) 50 mg, Cilnidipine IP 10 mg and Telmisartan IP 40 mg.
The retail price fixation has been notified for the formulation manufactured by Pure and Cure Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and marketed by Alkem Wellness Ltd. The order has been issued in accordance with the provisions of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013 governing scheduled pharmaceutical formulations.
The notification pertains specifically to the approved retail price determination for the said antihypertensive combination formulation under NPPA price regulation mechanisms.
