The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on May 12, 2026, under Para 5 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, issued a retail price fixation order based on September 2025 data for the formulation “Each 5 ml Contains: Cholecalciferol IP 60000 IU (In Nano Droplet Form) Oral Solution” manufactured by M/s Tirupati Medicare Ltd. and marketed by M/s Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The price fixation pertains to File No. 5124.
As per the notification, the worked-out retail price of the formulation was determined at ₹15.88 per ml excluding GST. However, the claimed price submitted by the company was ₹14.91 per ml excluding GST. After examination, the NPPA proposed the retail price at ₹14.91 per ml excluding GST under the provisions of DPCO, 2013.
The notified retail price will apply to the specified formulation and manufacturers/marketers concerned, subject to the applicable provisions relating to GST and compliance under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.
