The Finance Department, Govt. of Rajasthan on May 01, 2026, issued an amendment to the older notification no. 12(5)FD/Tax/2025-05, dated September 17, 2025, regarding the Classification and Applicable Tax Rates of Goods.
The following has been amended:
• The State Government has revised the HSN codes applicable to certain beverage products falling under heading 2202 in different GST rate schedules. The notification updates the entries under Schedule I, attracting 2.5% GST, and Schedule III, attracting 20% GST, by substituting specific tariff codes against the relevant serial numbers.
• The notification will come into force from May 01, 2026.
