In reference to its Circular Ref. No. 0168/2026 dated May 13, 2026, detailing the procedures for clearing, settlement, risk management, and collateral management for the Electronic Gold Receipt (EGR) segment. The circular is issued with reference to earlier NSE and NCL circulars concerning trading parameters and file formats for EGR transactions. It provides a comprehensive operational framework divided into six sections covering SEBI master circular provisions, detailed operational guidelines, formats and annexures, reporting requirements, UDiFF standardized report formats, and settlement holidays for 2026. The objective of the circular is to ensure standardized and efficient handling of EGR-related clearing and settlement activities, along with proper risk and collateral management practices. The circular also provides department-wise contact details for members seeking operational clarifications regarding collaterals, clearing, risk, settlement, and member services.
