Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 13, 2026, issued a notification regarding Trading Parameters in Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR).

The Exchange has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to launch the Exchange-traded Electronic Gold Receipt (EGR) segment. Trading in the EGR segment will commence effective May 18, 2026.

The Exchange has issued the following details regarding the EGR segment:

• Part A: Trading framework and operational details for the EGR segment 

• Part B: Formats of reports and files provided by the Exchange 

• Part C: Product specifications for Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) 

• Part D: Format for the Contingency Pool trading facility 

• Part E: Format and checklist for the Proprietary Undertaking submission
