The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on May 14, 2026, notified regarding the Implementation of new numbers for making outbound calls to members for BSE StAR Mutual Fund segment.
The exchange notice informs members about regulatory changes made by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), 2018, aimed at strengthening protection against Unsolicited Commercial Communications (UCC). These amendments are intended to improve transparency and safeguard users from unwanted commercial calls.
In line with these changes, the Exchange has implemented the use of the 1600 series numbering system for outbound calls. Accordingly, members should note that all official outbound calls related to BSE StAR Mutual Fund operations will now originate from the numbers 1600313680 and 1600113188, with immediate effect. This measure enhances authenticity and helps members easily identify legitimate communication from the Exchange.
