The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 30, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Market Data – Consolidated Circular.
The following has been stated namely: -
• NSE has issued a new consolidated circular on Market Data Broadcast, replacing earlier consolidated circular NSE/MSD/67677 dated April 25, 2025 and incorporating all subsequent circulars issued up to March 31, 2026.
• The circular covers operational guidelines related to:
o Price-volume and market status data broadcasts,
o Tick-by-Tick order and trade data through multicast,
o Advisory for subscribing to market data broadcasts.
• The prescribed parameters and instructions will apply uniformly to all live trading sessions as well as mock and BCP (Business Continuity Plan) sessions.
• Members are required to strictly comply with all Exchange circulars, communications, instructions, and directions, failing which disciplinary action may be initiated under NSE Bye-laws, Rules, and Regulations.
• Although no earlier information has been rescinded under this consolidation, any future rescission will not affect actions already taken, rights/liabilities accrued, penalties imposed, or legal proceedings initiated under the previous guidelines.
