The Ministry of Law and Justice (MoLE) on May 14, 2026, issued the notification regarding ₹19,000 Monthly Remuneration under Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020
The following has been stated namely: -
• The Central Government, under the Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions, 2020, has notified ₹19,000 per month as the remuneration amount for the purposes of clause (f) of sub-section (1) of section 2.
• In cases where remuneration is provided as a lump sum instead of monthly payment, an equivalent amount of ₹19,000 per month will be considered for applicability.
