Industry Specific ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on May 12, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Implementation services by Investment Advisers in the IFSC.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The circular refers to the International Financial Services Centres Authority (Capital Market Intermediaries) Regulations, 2025, which govern capital market intermediaries including Investment Advisers in IFSC. 

• Under Regulation 34(12) and 34(13), Investment Advisers registered with IFSCA are permitted to provide “implementation services” to advisory clients in the securities market, subject to specified conditions. 

• “Implementation services” are clarified as services that execute or give effect to investment advice provided by the Investment Adviser. 

• Investment Advisers must provide such services only through specified channels depending on the financial product type via Global Access Providers/Introducing Brokers, IFSC exchange members, or regulated platforms/AMCs in foreign jurisdictions. 

The circular shall come into force on May 12, 2026
