The Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on May 17, 2026, issued a notification regarding Revision of MCX Good Delivery Norms for BIS – Standard Gold/Silver.
The following has been stated:
In reference to its earlier circular dated April 11, 2022, it has informed all members of the Exchange regarding Launch of MCX Good Delivery Norms for BIS– Standard Gold/Silver.
Further, it has informed to the market that in order to pave the way for domestic silver refiners to deliver silver via the MCX platform, the Exchange has revised the aforesaid norms and have edited the Eligibility criteria as well as the procedure for empanelment of domestic silver refiners within the MCX Good Delivery Norms for domestic gold/silver refiners (Annexure- I).
Exchange further invites eligible domestic silver refiners for applying to be empanelled as per MCX Good Delivery Norms for domestic gold/silver refiners.
