The Department of Urban Local Bodies, Haryana, on May 15, 2026, amended an older notification No. S.O. 86/H.A.24/1973/S. 69/2013, dated October 11, 2013, related to the Property Tax Interest Waiver Scheme.
The following has been stated:-
•The Haryana Government has amended property tax provisions under the Urban Local Bodies Department notification.
•A one-time 100% waiver of interest on pending property tax arrears from 2010-11 to 2024-25 will be granted to taxpayers.
•The benefit is available if dues are cleared and property details are self-certified on the Property Tax Dues Payment and No Dues Certificate Management System Portal by June 30, 2026.
