The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 18, 2026, notified regarding the System Audit of Professional Clearing Members (PCM).
The following has been stated:
• NSE Clearing Limited has informed all Professional Clearing Members (PCMs) that the System Audit Report for FY ended March 31, 2026, shall be submitted through the NCL member portal by June 30, 2026. The report has to be filed in the prescribed format, and non-compliance may attract action under earlier NCL compliance circulars.
• The circular also provides detailed procedures for members and auditors to submit audit reports online. PCMs must first create sub-user IDs for system auditors on the NCL portal and assign “Inspection – System Audit” access rights. Auditors will then register themselves, submit declarations and conflict-of-interest confirmations, upload audit certificates, and digitally sign consolidated reports before submission.
• Members are required to review the auditor’s observations, upload governing board approvals, provide management comments on all non-compliance or non-applicable observations, digitally sign the consolidated TOR report using DSC, and submit it to NSE Clearing.
• The circular further explains the process for ATR (Action Taken Report) and follow-on audits. Both members and auditors must use the System Audit MIS section of the portal to submit comments, upload ATR documents for non-compliant points, and complete digital submissions for review and closure.
