The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 18, 2026, issued a circular regarding modifications in the contract parameters of Silver Micro Futures.
The following has been stated:-
•National Stock Exchange of India has revised the contract parameters of Silver Micro Futures by renaming the contract to “Silver 100 Grams Futures” effective from June 01, 2026.
•The trading and delivery unit has been reduced from 1 kilogram to 100 grams, while the symbol will change from SILVERMIC to SILVER100 and the quotation value from Rs/1 kg to Rs/100 grams.
•These changes will apply to contracts expiring in June 2026 onwards.
•Trading members have been advised to upload the latest co_contract.gz file from the NSE Extranet before trading begins on June 01, 2026.
