Labour ComplianceThe Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on May 13, 2026, issued a notification declaring a Drug "Not of Standard Quality" on Testing.

The following has been stated:-

•Employees' State Insurance Corporation has reported that the batch of Amoxycillin and Potassium Clavulanate Injection IP 1200 mg procured through the GeM Portal was found “Not of Standard Quality” during laboratory testing. 

•The sample taken from ESIC Hospital Sahibabad and supplied by Hindustan Antibiotics Ltd. failed to comply with assay specifications as per the test report issued by ITL Labs Pvt. Ltd. 

•Authorities have directed immediate stoppage of payment for the batch, recovery or replacement of the material along with testing charges, and initiation of an incident report on the GeM Portal. 

•The order has been issued with the approval of the Medical Commissioner (Procurement).
