The Department of Excise and Taxation, Haryana, on May 18, 2026, amended an older notification No. 36/GST-2, dated September 17, 2025, related to GST Schedule entries for Beverage Products.
The following has been stated:-
•The Excise and Taxation Department, Haryana, has amended Notification No. 36/GST-2 dated September 17, 2025, by revising HSN code entries under GST schedules for certain beverage products.
•In Schedule I, attracting 2.5% GST, the entries under serial numbers 150 and 151 have been updated with revised tariff codes under heading 2202 99.
•Similarly, in Schedule III, attracting 20% GST, the tariff entries under serial numbers 2 and 3 have been substituted with updated HSN codes, including 2202 91 00, 2202 99 91, and 2202 99 99.
•The amendment streamlines classification and taxation of specified beverage categories under Haryana GST provisions.
This notification shall be deemed to have come into force from May 01, 2026.
