Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on May 19, 2026, issued a notification regarding Aadhaar Authentication for Khadi Gramodyog Vikas Yojana.

The following has been stated:-

•The Central Government has made Aadhaar authentication mandatory for beneficiaries availing benefits under the Khadi Gramodyog Vikas Yojana implemented by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission.

•Individuals without Aadhaar must apply for enrolment and may temporarily use enrolment acknowledgement along with valid identity documents such as Voter ID, ration card, passport, driving licence, or UDID card.

•The Ministry will ensure Aadhaar enrolment, verification, and public awareness regarding the requirement. In cases where biometric authentication fails, alternative methods like OTP authentication, Aadhaar QR code verification, and offline e-KYC will be accepted.
