The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on May 21, 2026, has reminded Depository Participants (DPs) about the online facility available through the ‘Easiest’ portal for updating DP service centre details, as introduced via Communique CDSL/ADM/DP/GENRL/6272 dated December 2, 2016.
The following has been stated:
DPs can use the ‘Easiest’ portal to: Add new service centres, modify existing service centre details, Delete service centre records, and update demographic details such as email ID, mobile number, and address.
DPs are advised to: Download and verify the list of service centres, make necessary corrections, additions, or deletions if discrepancies are found.
In case of closure of a service centre, DPs must provide at least 30 days’ prior notice to clients using that service centre.
After the notice period, the service centre record should be deleted through the ‘Easiest’ login.
