Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on May 21, 2026, issued a circular regarding the System Testing Mock for Mumbai Rainfall (RAINMUMBAI) contracts on May 23, 2026.

The following has been stated:-

•National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited will conduct a mock trading session on May 23, 2026, to test trading applications and the newly launched Mumbai Rainfall futures contracts (RAINMUMBAI).

•The mock session will include trading in all commodities from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while Mumbai Rainfall contracts will remain available till 3:00 PM, with trade modification permitted till 3:15 PM.

•Four RAINMUMBAI contracts with expiry dates between June and September 2026 will be available during the mock exercise.

•The scope of testing includes Trading, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, Web Extranet, and third-party or in-house CTCL trading applications used by members.

•Production Web NCFE and Web Extranet services will remain unavailable from 2:00 AM to 9:00 PM on May 23, 2026, though mock portals will remain operational for testing purposes.

•NCDEX clarified that trades executed during the mock session will not create any financial or commodity settlement obligations, and members have been advised to restore systems to production mode after testing.
