NSE Mock Trading Session Scheduled for Securities Lending and Borrowing Market on May 23, 2026

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on May 22, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Securities Lending and Borrowing Market (SLBM) to be conducted on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The mock exercise will be carried out from both the Primary Site and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site to test system readiness, connectivity and disaster recovery preparedness.

As per the circular, the first trading session from the Primary Site will be conducted between 9:15 AM and 10:05 AM, while the second session from the DR Site will run between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Members will also be required to complete live re-login activities between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM to ensure seamless connectivity for live trading operations scheduled for May 25, 2026.

The Exchange clarified that no new version release is being introduced for the mock session and informed members that NEAT version 1.3.3 will be applicable for SLBM participation. NSE further stated that all outstanding orders will be purged before each session and that trades executed during the mock session will not create any financial obligations. Members have been advised to comply with UCC/PAN validation requirements, test all trading software and follow the operational and disaster recovery guidelines annexed to the circular.
