The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), on May 22, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Capital Market Segment to be conducted on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from both the Primary Site and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site. The exercise is intended to help members test connectivity, trading applications and disaster recovery preparedness ahead of live market operations.
The circular specifies detailed timings for pre-open sessions, normal market trading, T+0 market sessions, auction markets, block deal windows, closing sessions and re-login schedules across both the Primary and DR sites. NSE also informed members that no new software version release is being introduced during the mock session. The Exchange notified that NEAT+ version 7.8.7 will be discontinued after the June 6, 2026 mock session, while version 7.8.8 will continue to remain active. Members have also been advised to use NEAT Adapter version 1.0.27 for Windows and Linux environments.
NSE clarified that trades executed during the mock session will not create any financial obligations such as pay-in or payout. Members have been instructed to participate using all trading software, ensure valid UCC/PAN compliance, manually clear orders where required and re-login into the live environment after completion of the exercise to ensure smooth operations for trading on May 25, 2026.
