MoF Anti-Dumping Duty Notification Extended Till November 25, 2026

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF), on May 22, 2026, issued a notification amending Notification No. 47/2021-Customs (ADD) dated August 26, 2021 relating to levy of anti-dumping duty under the Customs Tariff Act 1975.

Through the amendment, the Central Government inserted a new paragraph providing that notwithstanding the earlier validity provisions, the anti-dumping duty imposed under the principal notification shall remain in force up to and inclusive of November 25, 2026, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier.

The notification has been issued in exercise of powers under Section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 read with the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995.
