The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 22, 2026, issued a notification regarding the launch of new Sub-Category level Nifty AIF Benchmarks.
The following has been stated:-
•NSE Indices Limited has released its standard Nifty AIF Benchmark Report for the period ended September 30, 2025, covering performance across various AIF categories and sub-categories.
•The report introduces new benchmarks for Category I “Angel Fund” and “Special Situations Fund” schemes.
•NSE Indices now offers 18 sub-category benchmarks across Category I, II, and III AIFs, based on data from over 1000 AIF schemes.
•Published semi-annually, the report is intended to support wealth managers, family offices, asset managers, and other investors in performance evaluation.
