The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on May 22, 2026, issued direction to ISPs for Blocking 22 Websites under Delhi High Court Order in Universal City Studios Case.
All Internet Service Licensees have been directed to comply with the court orders in the case of Universal City Studios LLC & Ors. v. fzkidd.net & Ors. issued by the Delhi High Court dated February 7, 2024 and April 24, 2026.
As per paragraph 3 of the April 24, 2026 order, ISPs are required to block access to 22 identified websites/domains listed in the enclosure. Licensees must take immediate action to restrict access to these platforms in strict compliance with the court’s directions.
