Industry Specific ComplianceThe Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on May 22, 2026, issued Direction to ISPs for Blocking Two Websites under Delhi High Court Order in Jaquar Case.

All Internet Service Licensees have been instructed to comply with the court order in the case of Jaquar and Company Private Limited vs Jaquar Franchise & Ors. issued by the Delhi High Court dated February 10, 2026.

As per paragraph 17 of the order, ISPs are required to block access to two specified websites/domains listed in the enclosure. Licensees must take immediate necessary action to restrict access to these platforms in strict compliance with the court’s directions.
