Labour Compliance The Government of Telangana, on May 22, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Bakrid Holiday date to May 28, 2026.

The following has been stated:-

•The Government of Telangana has rescheduled the Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, from May 27, 2026 (Wednesday), to May 28, 2026 (Thursday).

•This change was officially authorized following recommendations from the state's Minorities Welfare Department and Wakf Board.
