Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on May 25, 2026, issued the notification regarding Holiday on May 28, 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Government of Haryana has revised the Gazetted Holiday for ‘Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)’ from May 27, 2026 (Wednesday) to May 28, 2026 (Thursday). 

• The revised holiday will be observed across all Haryana Government departments, boards, corporations, educational institutions, and other government institutions. 

• The holiday on May 28 2026 will also be observed under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, meaning banks and related institutions will remain closed.
