Labour Compliance The Government of Chhattisgarh, on May 26, 2026, issued a notification regarding the revision of the Bakrid Holiday date to May 28, 2026.

The following has been stated:-

•The Government of Chhattisgarh has partially amended its previous holiday calendar to change the public and general holiday for "Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid)".

•The holiday, which was earlier scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, will now instead be observed on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
