Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on May 26, 2026, issued a circular regarding a revision in cut-off timings.

The following has been stated:-

•NCCL has revised the cut-off timings for the release of approved securities and commodities collateral, effective from May 29, 2026, following changes in commodity derivatives trading hours.

•The updated timings apply to collateral release requests made through the pledge/re-pledge mechanism of NSDL, CDSL, and NERL.

•Six release batches have been introduced, with processing timelines ranging from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM on the same day.

•There is no change in the existing procedure or timings for deposit and release of cash, FDRs, and bank guarantees kept as collateral with NCCL.
