Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 26, 2026, issued notice of Revisions to FATCA/UBO Structure on NSE MF Invest Platform.

The Registrar and Transfer Agents are updating the FATCA/UBO structure by adding 17 new fields, modifying existing fields, and introducing new validation rules. Accordingly, the NSE MF Invest platform is being upgraded, and members are required to align their internal systems with the revised format.

Key changes include enhanced validation for specific fields, mandatory submission of a “TIN NA Declaration form” where applicable, expansion of the FATCA structure, and updates to preprinted forms. These changes will apply across UI, file uploads, and APIs.

The implementation timeline sets UAT deployment on July 16, 2026, and the target go-live date as August 31, 2026. Members are advised to prepare for timely development, testing, and compliance with the updated requirements.
