The India International Exchange on May 27, 2026, issued circular on Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience Audit of Broker Dealers for the period ended on March 31, 2026.
All Exchange members are required to conduct a Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience Audit for the period ending March 31, 2026, in accordance with IFSCA guidelines and master circulars applicable to Broker Dealers and Clearing Members.
Broker Dealers must submit the audit report along with management comments to the Exchange within 90 days from the end of the financial year. The submission must be done only in electronic form via the IIEFS portal, and it will be considered complete only after final submission and receipt of an acknowledgment email. Reports merely saved or uploaded by auditors will not be treated as final.
Additionally, Broker Dealers must email the same audit report to IFSCA within 7 days of submission to the Exchange, marking a copy to the Exchange email ID. Relevant annexures, including auditor selection norms and declaration, must also be complied with as part of the audit process.
Penalties apply for delays: USD 3 per day for submissions within 1 month after the due date, USD 7 per day for delays between 1–3 months, and trading facility disablement (after notice) for non-submission beyond 3 months. Trading will be restored only after the report is submitted.
