Commercial ComplianceThe Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on May 25, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater.

In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Establishment of the Amendment shall be May 15, 2026 -

• IS 3025 (Part 15) : 2023 Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater Part 15 Total Residue (Dissolved and Suspended Solids) (Second Revision).

• IS 3025 (Part 17) : 2022 Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater Part 17 Non-Filterable Residue (Total Suspended Solids at 103˚C105˚C) (Second Revision).

• IS 3025 (Part 23) : 2023 Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater Part 23 Alkalinity (Second Revision).

• IS 3025 (Part 40) : 2024 Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater Part 40 Calcium (Second Revision).

• IS 3025 (Part 46) : 2023 Methods of Sampling and Test (Physical and Chemical) for Water and Wastewater Part 46 Magnesium (Second Revision).
