The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) on May 26, 2026, notified regarding the Change in the date of holiday on account of Id-u-Zuha (Bakrid).
It has informed all faculty members, staff, contractual personnel, project staff, and students that the holiday for Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) will now be observed on May 28, 2026, instead of May 27, 2026, following revised directions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Accordingly, the institute will remain closed on May 28, 2026, while May 27, 2026 will be treated as a regular working day.
