Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 22, 2026, issued Corrigendum - Modification in Minimum Number of Strikes of Silver Options on Goods.

The NSE circular revises the “Minimum Number of Strikes” for Silver Options on Goods (OPTBLN). The number of strikes has been significantly increased from 25 in-the-money (ITM), 25 out-of-the-money (OTM), and 1 near-the-money (total 51 CE & 51 PE) to 99 ITM, 99 OTM, and 1 near-the-money (total 199 CE & 199 PE). The Exchange may introduce additional strikes if required.

This change is aimed at providing better strike coverage in line with current silver price levels and market volatility, ensuring a more efficient and meaningful range of trading options for participants.

The revised parameters are effective from May 25, 2026, and will apply to June 2026 contracts and onwards, as per the earlier circular.
