The Department of Finance, Goa, on May 26, 2026, issued a circular regarding relaxation of mandatory PAN requirement for Non-Commercial Registrations.
The following has been stated:-
•The Goa Government has partially relaxed its earlier order mandating PAN capture for registrations, licenses, and permissions issued by departments.
•Individuals seeking registrations or permissions for non-commercial purposes will now be exempt from compulsory PAN submission where it is not required under the relevant Act or Rules.
•Departments have been directed to implement the revised provisions immediately and submit compliance reports to the Finance Department within six months.
