BSE Mock Trading Session for Currency Derivatives Segment

Secretarial ComplianceThe BSE Limited (BSE), on May 29, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives Segment to be conducted on May 30, 2026 from both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery Site (DR). The exercise is intended to provide trading members, including those using third-party trading platforms and ETI API-based systems, an opportunity to test their trading applications and operational readiness under normal and exceptional market conditions. 

The mock session will commence with login from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by continuous trading in Currency Derivatives and Cross Currency Derivatives from the Primary Site until 12:00 PM. After a switchover to the Disaster Recovery Site between 12:00 PM and 12:45 PM, trading in both segments will continue from the DR site until 2:45 PM, followed by trade modification windows at 3:00 PM. 

BSE has clarified that the mock trading session is exclusively for testing and familiarization purposes. Trades executed during the session will not attract margin requirements, settlement obligations, pay-in/pay-out obligations, or create any legal rights and liabilities. Members have been encouraged to participate actively and provide feedback to support the Exchange's efforts to strengthen system resilience and trading infrastructure.
