The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on May 29, 2026, announced a mock trading session for the Commodity Derivatives segment to be conducted on May 30, 2026 from both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery Site (DR). The exercise is intended to help trading members test their trading applications, including third-party and in-house systems connected through ETI APIs, under various market scenarios.
The mock session will commence with login access from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by continuous trading from the Primary Site between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. After a switchover period from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM, trading will resume from the Disaster Recovery Site from 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM.
BSE clarified that trades executed during the mock session are solely for testing and familiarization purposes and will not create any financial, margin, pay-in/pay-out, or legal obligations. Trading members have been encouraged to actively participate and provide feedback to the Exchange by 4:00 PM on the same day.
