Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on May 29, 2026, notified regarding the Change in File Naming Convention.

The following has been stated:

• It has partially modified its earlier circulars on clearing and settlement report formats and collateral formats by revising the file naming convention for certain collateral-related reports. While the file structure and format remain unchanged, all existing End-of-Day (EOD) collateral report files will now carry the suffix “_EOD” in their filenames to clearly distinguish them from other reports.

• Additionally, NCCL will begin providing Beginning-of-Day (BOD) collateral reports. These BOD files will have the same structure as the EOD reports and will value pledged collateral based on the latest available closing prices. Separate BOD file names with the suffix “_BOD” have been prescribed for valuation and client effective deposit reports.

• The revised file naming convention and the new BOD report files will be available to members from the end of the day on June 01, 2026. Members are advised to update their systems and processes accordingly to accommodate the revised file names.
