The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on May 28, 2026, notified regarding the new version of Trading Software.
The following has been stated:
• It has announced the mandatory release of upgraded versions of its trading software—MCX Trade Station (MTS) V14.0.3.00 and Member Control Station (MCS) V14.0.2.79—effective June 01, 2026. Trading Members are required to download and install these versions to ensure uninterrupted trading operations. The software packages will be made available on the MCX SFTP (Extranet) server from May 30, 2026, and members may test the new versions during the mock trading session scheduled on the same day.
• MCX has prescribed a manual installation process requiring members to uninstall existing versions, delete specified application folders, download the new setup files from the SFTP server, and install the updated software.
• Members shall also ensure proper firewall configuration, administrator access, and compliance with the recommended hardware and software specifications.
• The update is compulsory, and members are advised to complete the installation before the software goes live on June 01, 2026, to ensure seamless connectivity and trading.
