BIS issued the date of establishment of amendment for Line Operated a.c. Motors for Submersible Pumpsets, Cards and Security Devices for Personal Identification Contactless Proximity Objects, etc.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on April 16, 2026, issued the date of establishment of amendment of certain Indian Standards (IS).

The amendment of the following IS have been established on April 08, 2026, namely: -

• IS 9283 : 2024 Line Operated a.c. Motors for Submersible Pumpsets — Specification (Third Revision) - Amendment No. 1 April 2026

• IS/ISO/IEC 10373-1 : 2020 Cards and Security Devices for Personal Identification — Test Methods Part 1 General Characteristics (First Revision) - Amendment No. 1 April 2026

• IS/ISO/IEC 11770-3 : 2021 Information Security — Key Management Part 3 Mechanisms using Asymmetric Techniques (Second Revision) - Amendment No. 1 April 2026

• IS/ISO/IEC 14443-2 : 2020 Cards and Security Devices for Personal Identification Contactless Proximity Objects Part 2 Radio Frequency Power and Signal Interface - Amendment No. 1 April 2026

• IS/ISO/IEC 14443-3 : 2018 Cards and Security Devices for Personal Identification — Contactless Proximity Objects Part 3 Initialization and Anti-Collision - Amendment No. 1 April 2026

The IS shall stay in force without the amendment till October 07, 2026.
