The Ministry Of Labour And Employment (MoLE) on May 29, 2026, issued notification on Authorization of Inspector-cum-Facilitators for Filing Complaints under Social Security Code.
The Ministry exercising powers under Section 136(1) of the Code on Social Security, 2020, has authorised Inspector-cum-Facilitators appointed under Section 122 to file complaints concerning establishments covered under Chapter III of the Code. This enables designated officials to initiate legal action for violations related to applicable provisions, thereby strengthening enforcement and compliance mechanisms under the Social Security framework.
