Finance & Taxation Compliance The Ministry of Finance, on May 30, 2026, issued a notification to amend the earlier Notification No. 06/2026-Central Excise dated March 26, 2026.

The following has been stated:

• In the said notification, against serial number 1, in column (4), the entry “Rs. 1.5 per litre” shall be substituted.

• In the said notification, against serial number 2, in column (4), the entry “Rs. 13.5 per litre” shall be substituted.

It shall come into force on June 01, 2026.
