The following has been stated:-
•The Government of West Bengal has further extended the deadline for filing Form-III Professional Tax Returns for the year ending March 31, 2026, due to continuing compelling circumstances.
•The last date for electronic transmission of return data has been extended from May 31, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
•Taxpayers must upload the signed and scanned copy of the return by July 15, 2026.
•Returns filed within these extended timelines will be treated as filed within the prescribed date, and no late fee will be levied.
