The Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL), on June 1, 2026, notified the Due Date Rate (DDR) for the Electricity Monthly Base Load Futures Contract (ELECDMBL) that expired on May 29, 2026. The DDR has been fixed at ₹4,829.00 per MWh, with a base quantity of 1 MWh.
Pursuant to the applicable Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of MCXCCL, the differential obligation arising from the DDR shall form part of the members' obligations for June 1, 2026. Such obligations will be settled on June 2, 2026.
MCXCCL has further informed members that details of the differential obligations will be made available through the back-office file named “MCXCCL_FS_MemberID_DDMMYYYY.xlsx” in the SFTP date folder 01-06-2026. Members and market participants have been advised to take note of the same.
