Industry Specific ComplianceThe National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) on May 29, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Settlement Calendar and timelines for submission of delivery intentions for all the futures contract expiring in June 2026.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The circular provides the settlement calendar and delivery intention timelines for all futures contracts expiring in June 2026 across specified commodities like Bajra, Cotton, Steel, Jeera, etc. 

• Contracts follow compulsory staggered delivery mechanisms, with settlement types (Physical, Premium/Discount, GST settlement) and specific settlement codes for each expiry date. 

• Expiry dates range from June 17-19, 2026, with corresponding pay-in/pay-out settlements scheduled up to June 29, 2026, depending on settlement type. 

• Sellers must upload invoices (T+3 to T+5), and buyers must confirm delivery (T+6 to T+9) through the exchange system within defined timelines for smooth settlement processing. 

• Strict rules apply for delivery defaults, including penalties, additional charges for repeated defaults, GST on penalties, mandatory delivery obligations, and requirement to submit delivery intentions via NCFE within trading timelines.
