Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) on June 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding onboarding of Aggregators on the eShram Portal.

The following has been stated:-

•The Ministry of Labour & Employment has mandated all digital aggregators to onboard and integrate their databases via API with the eShram portal by June 21, 2026.

•This directive follows the enforcement of the Code on Social Security, 2020, which legally recognizes gig and platform workers and requires aggregators to share worker details within 45 days of rule commencement.

•Upon successful onboarding, aggregators must register their workers to generate or link Universal Account Numbers (UAN) to facilitate portability and track monthly engagements.

•The onboarding process requires a two-part digital registration form collecting company identifiers, SPOC details, and Aadhaar eKYC for authentication.

•Adherence to this timeline is critical to extending structured social security benefits and avoiding penal provisions under Section 133 of the Code.

The detailed notification is given in the document below.
