Industry Specific Compliance The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on June 02, 2026, issued the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Amendment Regulations, 2026 to further amend the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on sales) Regulations, 2011.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011, in regulation 2.3, in sub-regulation 2.3.14, clause (8) shall be omitted.
