The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on June 02, 2026, has informed Depository Participants (DPs) about amendments made to Chapter 4 – Dematerialisation of Existing Scrips of the DP Operating Instructions.
The amendments have been incorporated pursuant to SEBI Circular No. HO/38/13/(3)2026-MIRSD-POD/I/3763/2026 dated January 30, 2026, which prescribes the operational modalities for doing away with the Letter of Confirmation in the dematerialisation process. The revised provisions are provided in Annexure A of the communiqué in track-change mode.
CDSL has advised all Depository Participants to take note of the amendments and ensure compliance with the revised operating instructions.
